Nancy L. Kriseman, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with older people and their families. She has been working with elders and their families for over thirty five years. Nancy heads up Geriatric Consulting Services, where she provides counseling, consultation and educational seminars to family caregivers, long-term care communities and organizations. She has also presented at conferences throughout the United States and in Canada. She is the author of two other books: The Caring Spirt which has won two national awards and The Mindful Caregiver: Finding Ease in the Caregiving Journey. Nancy holds a Masters in Social Work and Specialist in Aging Degree from the University of Michigan.
